Big Bend Ranch State Park

By Private Aircraft, it is about 35 minutes from the Marfa Municipal Airport (MRF).  That is only a small fraction of the time it would take to drive to the interior, Sauceda headquarters of the State Park.  All they ask is that you call, 432-358-4444, in advance to let them know when you will be arriving, so that they can meet you at the landing strip and drive you the one mile to the visitors center.



The paved landing strip is shown on the El Paso sectional aeronautical chart as private.  The coordinates for your GPS are N29 deg 28.3 min and W103 deg 56.7 minutes. The field elevation is 4240 feet.  Chock your wheels from a nearby selection of desert rocks.  There are no tie downs that I could see.
